When a spreadsheet may be enough

A spreadsheet can be a reasonable starting point when the business is small and the records are simple. It offers flexibility, but the coach must design the system, update formulas, and keep separate tools synchronized.

Spreadsheet versus izow

A spreadsheet stores rows and formulas. izow provides coaching-specific workflows for adding packages, completing lessons, recording payments, reviewing balances, and understanding income. The tradeoff is that izow is intentionally structured rather than endlessly customizable.

What izow does not replace

izow does not currently replace public booking software, automated reminders, Google or Apple Calendar, accounting advice, or tax preparation. It focuses on the operational records independent coaches use every day.

Can izow replace my coaching spreadsheet?

It can replace many spreadsheets used to track students, lesson packages, lesson credits, payments, open balances, income, and expenses. Review the Features page to confirm that your current columns have an equivalent workflow.

Can I import my existing spreadsheet?

Not currently. izow does not yet offer bulk student importing, so existing students and starting balances must be added individually.

Can I export records?

Pro includes CSV exports for income, expenses, and tax summaries. Bulk student and lesson exports are not currently available.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The Free plan supports up to 3 active students and does not require a credit card.
