Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 20, 2026

Izow LLC ("izow," "we," "us," or "our") provides business-management software for independent coaches. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use izow's websites, applications, and related services (the "Service").

Information We Collect

  • Account information: email address, authentication information, account preferences, and plan status.
  • Coach-entered information: student names, phone numbers, email addresses, schedules, lesson locations, private lesson notes, package details, payment records, and lesson history.
  • Payment information: connected Stripe account identifiers, payment status, amounts, dates, and transaction references. izow does not store full card or bank-account numbers.
  • Communications: support requests, product feedback, and other messages you send to us.
  • Technical information: device and browser details, IP address, session information, diagnostic logs, and security events collected by us or our service providers.

How We Use Information

  • Provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
  • Authenticate users and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
  • Process subscriptions and facilitate coach payment links through Stripe.
  • Respond to support requests and communicate service-related information.
  • Comply with law, enforce our Terms, and protect users, izow, and others.

Student Information and Coach Responsibilities

Coaches control the student information they enter into izow. izow processes that information to provide the Service to the coach. Coaches are responsible for having an appropriate legal basis, providing required notices, and obtaining any necessary consent before entering or using student information, including information about minors.

Coaches should enter only information reasonably necessary to manage their coaching business and should not use izow to store medical records, government identifiers, financial-account credentials, or other highly sensitive information.

How We Disclose Information

We may disclose information in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: including Supabase for authentication and database services, Vercel for hosting and delivery, and Stripe for connected accounts and payment processing.
  • Legal and safety reasons: when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights and safety, or investigate misuse.
  • Business transactions: in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.
  • At your direction: when you request or authorize a disclosure.

izow does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Payment Processing

Stripe processes payment credentials and connected-account onboarding under its own terms and privacy policy. izow receives transaction and account-status information needed to operate payment features, but does not receive or store complete card or bank-account numbers.

Data Retention

We retain information while an account is active and as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Some records may remain in secured backups or transaction logs for a limited period after deletion. Coaches are responsible for managing retention of student information within their accounts.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your password and promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized access.

Your Choices and Privacy Rights

You may review and update information through the Service. You may request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information by emailing support@izow.app. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Virginia residents may also have rights under applicable Virginia privacy law, including the right to appeal a denied request.

Children's Privacy

izow is a business tool intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. Children may not create izow accounts. If a coach enters information about a minor student, the coach is responsible for obtaining any consent required from a parent or guardian. Contact us if you believe a child submitted information directly to izow without authorization.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service changes. We will post the updated policy and revise the effective date. We may provide additional notice when changes are material.
