Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract to use the Service. If you use izow for a business or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

You must provide accurate account information, protect your login credentials, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account except to the extent caused by izow's breach of these Terms.

izow provides tools for managing students, lessons, schedules, packages, notes, payment records, and related coaching operations. We may improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue features. We will use reasonable efforts to provide notice when a change materially reduces paid functionality.

izow does not provide coaching, medical, legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice.

• You are solely responsible for your coaching services, schedules, pricing, refunds, communications, taxes, and relationships with students.
• You must comply with applicable laws and obtain required permissions before entering student information, including information about minors.
• You must maintain accurate records and independently verify important scheduling, balance, and payment information.
• You may not upload unlawful content or unnecessary highly sensitive information.

Coaches may connect a Stripe account and send payment links. The coach, not izow, is the merchant providing coaching services. Transactions are between the coach and the coach's customer. Stripe processes online payments under Stripe's agreements, fees, and policies. The coach is responsible for refunds, disputes, chargebacks, taxes, and compliance related to those transactions.

izow may also allow coaches to record payments made outside Stripe. Those entries are recordkeeping tools and do not verify that funds were transferred.

izow may offer free and paid plans. Paid-plan prices, features, billing periods, and renewal terms will be shown before purchase. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not ordinarily refund the current billing period, except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise. Purchases made through an app store may also be governed by that store's billing and cancellation terms.

You may not:

• Use the Service unlawfully, deceptively, or to violate another person's rights.
• Access another user's account or data without authorization.
• Interfere with, probe, overload, reverse engineer, or circumvent security or usage limits of the Service, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
• Upload malware or use the Service to send spam, harassment, or abusive communications.
• Resell or commercially exploit the Service unless izow has agreed in writing.

izow and its licensors own the Service, software, branding, and related intellectual property. Subject to these Terms, izow grants you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable right to use the Service for your internal coaching business. You retain ownership of information you submit and grant izow the rights reasonably necessary to host, process, back up, and display that information to provide the Service.

The Service relies on third parties including Supabase, Vercel, and Stripe. Their services and terms may apply separately. izow is not responsible for third-party services outside its reasonable control.

You may stop using izow at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material violations, security risks, nonpayment, unlawful activity, or conduct that threatens the Service or others. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to cure. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." IZOW LLC DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN DISCLAIMERS, SO SOME OF THESE TERMS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IZOW LLC AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL. IZOW LLC'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IZOW LLC DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. THESE LIMITATIONS DO NOT APPLY WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Izow LLC and its affiliates from claims, losses, and expenses arising from your coaching services, your student relationships, information you submit, your violation of law, or your breach of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought in a state or federal court with jurisdiction in Virginia, and each party consents to personal jurisdiction there. Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from seeking appropriate injunctive relief.

We may update these Terms. We will post revised Terms and update the effective date, and we may provide additional notice for material changes. Continued use after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
